Back in April we reported that the new Grassmarket Centre, designed by Gareth Hoskins Architects for Greyfriars Kirk and housing the Grassmarket Community Project, was nominated for RIAS and Scottish Design awards, and we are delighted that the Grassmarket Centre won an RIAS 2014 Award for architecture and received a Commendation at the 2014 Scottish Design Awards in the category Architecture: Public Building.
All the winners of the RIAS Awards have also been shortlisted for the Andrew Doolan – Best Building in Scotland Award and we’ll bring you more information about that when we get it.
